An Attorney That Cares About Service

June 24, 2021

Grover Arnett has had an attitude of service since the beginning of his adult studies. When he began his education at Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, Kentucky and completed his Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education, he served as student body president. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Arnett was the recipient of a scholarship due to his academic achievements and this encouraged him to give back to the community that helped him achieve his education goals. He later wrote fundraising materials that helped other deserving recipients with scholarships. Currently a long-time member of the A.B. “Happy” Chandler Foundation which works to provide students in need with college scholarship money, he also has founded and serves as chairperson to the William O. and Easter Arnett Memorial Foundation.

That attitude of service is also what led Grover Arnett to serve as a Magoffin County Attorney from 1994 to 1999. He did not take his position lightly and was recently recognized by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell for providing high quality counsel and abiding by the highest levels of ethics and integrity.

In addition to his many investments to service for the community, Grover Arnett has been able to establish his own law firm and continues to pursue excellence in fighting for his clients. The majority of his cases consist of workers’ compensation and social security disability. His efforts for his clients have not gone unrecognized though as he is listed as the state's top ten in workers’ compensation expertise. He continues to show his passion for helping others in his focus to provide affordable and competent counsel for his clients.
